e-KYC is the scheme confirming that you are the person on the record. Until it is finished, no instalment is released, however correct everything else may be. You can complete it with a one-time code sent to the phone number linked to your Aadhaar, or in person at a Common Service Centre using your fingerprint. It takes about 7 to 10 working days to take effect once done.
