How this works
Three steps, on any service. No password, no captcha, no registration number.
1. Citizen input
The citizen enters a synthetic lookup identifier - Aadhaar, mobile, or registration number.
2. Multi-system verification
NISHAN evaluates data across seven government records simultaneously instead of siloed portals.
3. Deterministic diagnosis
The rules engine applies official guidelines in strict precedence order to isolate the root blocker.
4. Action recommendation
The user receives a plain-language next step, exact officer to meet, documents to carry, and an official slip.
5. Resolution
The problem is resolved without circular office referrals or endless portal refreshes.

Built on a fully deterministic rules engine with a Multi-Government Service Layer simulation, synthetic test personas, zero external dependencies, and in-browser state privacy.

In production, authorized integration gateways connect to UIDAI identity verification, State Land Record registers, National Payments Corporation routing, Central Financial Systems, and Common Service Centre kiosks.

Hackathon Prototype Note: This prototype does not connect to live government databases, Aadhaar servers, or banking networks. All evaluation runs locally on synthetic test cases.
